- The USFS needs to rethink the funds allocation process were there is more money allocated for fighting fires with less money for prevention. Witness the "allowed to burn" actions in prior years because there is money to cover the cost of that action where there is little money for prevention.
These policys cause the good ol’ boy practice of employees actually start wild fires to get work during fire season.
